Reading List
I put a request out for book recommendations on Facebook and Instagram. I see reading books as a luxury. It's something I squeeze into my life, either by grabbing 15 minutes on the train or just before falling asleep in the evening or the classic of the holiday book.
With this new found time I am determined to make reading an everyday part of my life. I want reading to be a habit, not a luxury that I squeeze in.
The reading list has no genre, but maybe there will be patterns.
I already have a backlog of books I need to read, so maybe asking for recommendations is a little optimistic?
Backlog of books
Empire by Niall Ferguson
Anything you want by Derek Sivers

How to be fucking awesome by Dan Meredith

WOW, why did I ever ask for book recommendations? This backlog is massive!
Ok here is the recommendations book list

Thanks to everyone for their recommendations, I will get through all of these.
Interesting point on the modern economy, the new thinking is that we buy services instead of things. A great example is Amazon and the Kindle, you can pay to buy a book outright or pay to have access to all their books. Oh wait, how is that service new? It’s called the library.
My Mum will be very proud of me, I’ve gone to the local library out of choice instead of her having to drag me as she did in the past.
